Transport contracts

Transport contracts provide a wide range of options for automatic pricing of orders. The contract can cover all types of orders, or you can specify it to apply only to certain types of orders – in addition, it can include an identifier for bundling orders.

Transport contracts can be customer specific, or the same contract may be used for several customers. In addition, you can use two separate contracts for each customer and specify individually at which point during the billing period to switch from the primary contract to the secondary one.

An individual transport contract can contain several pricing criteria at the same time: the contract may include, e.g., flat rate, distance-based pricing and a price based on the driver's work hours. You can also specify minimum for billing and hours, as well as several additional fees such as:

  • fuel surcharge
  • second driver's work hours
  • tolls
  • caterings

When saving an order, the program calculates the price based on the contract. If the order is completed differently than planned, you can check the pricing afterwards as separate rows for extra distance and additional hours are automatically created.

Pricing table

The system can automatically pre-price orders according to a pricing table you specify, which gives you a handy tool for implementing, e.g., a fixed zone-based pricing. A pricing table can contain unlimited number of pricing rows based on:

  • order type
  • zip code areas
  • city of departure and destination
  • number of passengers
  • weight of the load

As you enter an order, the system checks for a matching pricing row and calculates the price automatically.

Product pricing

In passenger transport, you can specify transport products and generate price lists for your customers. This feature is well-suited, e.g., for automatic pricing of group tours. A product can include:

  • fixed price, or pricing can be based on distance or time
  • the effect of the number of customers on the price
  • customer group specific discounts
  • period of validity
  • days of the week when it is available
